Next Haro Station Wine Experience to be held in June 2022

  • Haro Station District Association to maintain wine tourism activities this year and keep promoting safe tourism both indoors and outdoors.
  • Tickets already purchased for the two postponed Experiences will remain valid through 2022.

Haro, March 2021 – The Haro Station District Association has decided to move the Haro Station Wine Experience scheduled for June 2021 to 18 June 2022, with the aim of assuring health and safety at the event so attendants can enjoy this special day of wine and food to the full.

The new postponement reflects the Association’s responsible commitment to guaranteeing the best experience during the celebration of the Haro Station Wine Experience, ensuring a safe and pleasant day for all attendees.

In the words of the chair of Asociación de Bodegas del Barrio de la Estación, María Urrutia, “We want every Haro Station Wine Experience to be unforgettable and that is why we have decided to hold it in 2022, when we hope to have left behind all the impact of the pandemic on tourism and the enjoyment of wine. By then, we trust we will be able to ensure a fun-filled day around wine and food in a a venue as unique in the world as the Station District, touring wineries that await visitors with open arms.”

Furthermore, the Association will continue to promote activities for all visitors of this iconic corner of Haro, offering a multitude of possibilities for safe wine tourism throughout the year, both inside the wineries and, particularly, in their outdoor spaces and terraces, duly equipped to offer a comfortable and fully guaranteed experience. “We continue to work hard at ensuring the pioneering spirit of the Haro Station Wine Experience remains active. The Association’s wineries keep their doors open to visitors who want to come at any time of the year and enjoy a historical wine culture setting,” says María Urrutia.

With regard to tickets that have already been purchased in advance, whether online or in person, the organisers offer the option of keeping the 2020 and 2021 tickets for 2022, without any changes being necessary.

As a gesture of thanks to those who decide to keep their ticket for next year, they can enjoy, free of charge, two wines and a tour of an Association winery, any time throughout 2021.

However, anyone who wishes to do so may request a refund of the early bird price, regardless of whether the tickets were bought online or in person.

We are already preparing the new Experience, which will have the same philosophy and characteristics as the event planned for 2021. The six participating wineries (Bodegas RODA, Bodegas Bilbaínas Viña Pomal, CVNE, Bodegas Muga, La Rioja Alta, S.A. and Gómez Cruzado) will each be offering two wines, as well as various dishes and a dessert prepared by renowned chefs.
